I think you have a point about the tenders. Granted, maybe if they are newer tenders built since D&RGW days they have less historic value, but they still might be useful. Aa for selling pieces, like Les said, they would probably fetch a good price on Ebay. Heck, if some people will pay $100+ for a few sheets of paper, what about a piece of an engine? Probably a lot more than the value gained by cutting them up.
