Thank you all for the info. I apologize for not responding sooner, but we have had a couple of projects planned for the future green lighted for this summer so I've been tied up with that, more info on those as spring arrives.
The numbers given above by Chris match what are listed in the brake calculations. I haven't been able to figure out why the difference of 4000# on two cars that are nearly identical in construction and modifications. I'm suspecting that the 38000# weight is with the steel reinforcement added and the folio sheets were never completely updated.
The reason for my interest is we are starting to replace some of the K1 systems with ABDW. Now before you purists reach for the soap box I would invite you to maintain these systems for the service we provide at the Huck with only rubber parts. The reality is these systems are getting long in the tooth and for us it's time. The up side is we will have a number of components available for trade once we progress further with the project.
To answer Rods question 306, 320 and 260 were all acquired from CRRM with no trucks. 306 is on trucks from unknown heritage, NdeM I think.
320 is on a pair removed from the CyZ RPO that was brought north with the Puddingstone collection that I believe was a D&RGW car that went south. The flying bolsters are marked D&RGW but the pedestals and boxes are marked NdeM. I'd be curious to know is anybody knows the numbers of the RPO. Before you ask it ceased to exist over 10 years ago and lives on in in parts donated to 316 and saved for various reasons.
260 is on a pair for trucks that were under one of the two CyZ cupola cabooses moved to California, one or which survives as HRR 0776. The second pair is under 316. Again, if anybody knows the number of the caboose that burned at the reservoir I'd be interested to know which one we have. Photos I have seen, I believe traken by Mr. Grandt show they were numbered 151 and 152. I'd fall off my chair with laughter is the cab we have is the same number as our ten wheeler.
