We're also very glad the historic caboose frame has found the perfect home, right back where she was in service.
Most of the thanks for making this happen should go to the DSP&S Historical Society, who also extend their interests to the C&S and other descendent railroads of the South Park.

Bob Shoppe and his Board very quickly approved the expense to have the frame conveyed from Southern Cal. to Como. They also arranged with the roundhouse owner that it would be ok to place the piece indoors, and they had it re-assembled in no time.
We all follow the efforts of this group as reported on this board, including rolling stock restorations, the Como Depot project, and other endeavors. They are a dedicated, expert, and hard-working group of like-minded folks doing a lot of the hard stuff themselves. The fine group deserves a lot of support from all of us.
