The first car (the RPO) is either 65 or 54, both long RPOs for San Juan service, both converted to work cars for rotary trains in 1951 or so, and lost their cast passenger truck for freight car trucks by D&RG in the mid 1960’s…
Car 54 is undergoing restoration as a RPO with complete interior by the Friends in Chama (structural and exterior mostly done), car 65 is to be restored as part of the historic passenger train project with an historic exterior, but configured inside as a concessions and ADA car.
The second car in the train is Pay car F, later 0453, and is also part of the historic passenger car project. The bright Tuscan paint hides the fact that both were pretty rotten…
The third car is a Mexican coach.
