Lol it was 1977 in October. I was 4 months old and my great uncle Carl Jack at the throttle. Guess you can say he gave me my blessing in Silverton when he took me from my mother and into the engine lol. Fritz could it be the new shop foreman having a bump in the road.. The "Swap" will be good for both railroads in many ways. BUT yes I'd hope that the 76 return would be a blessing in light of that it would cost less to get her running sooner than the bug build of the 83. Will have to see.
