TFRs are also posted over forest fires so the helicopters, retardant planes, and such may operate without interference from other aircraft. Drones are becoming a serious problem over fires too. The pilots jobs are hazardous enough that they don't need to be looking out for the drones too!

All aircraft within the TRFs are controlled by the air attack boss who circles overhead and acts as the local flight controller.
