The vast majority of the stock cars on that train were owned by Scenic Rys as the Commission only owned 2 stock cars and the FOCTS didn't buy the others from Helfin until the mid-1990's. A few of Scenic's cars went to the NPS for display in Cimmaron, while a large percentage were purchased by the D&S. I think most of them are up at Tacoma. One of the cars at Tacoma still shows evidence of being converted to a coach of sorts with a couple of the side slats removed, another was used in a movie shot on the C&TS in the fall of 1981 and is still lettered "T&P RR".
