Mike,
Did you do the laser work on the polystyrene, or have someone else do it?
I have heard that cutting styrene can be both dangerous, and have negative effects on the laser. On the danger side, I have first heard that styrene releases chlorine gas when cut, but I have also been told this is purely made up; it sure does smell awful though. As for the laser, I have heard it releases a chemical that can adhere to the mirrors, and fog them once dried. I know cutting wood will burn and vaporize tree sap, which then will dry where it lands. Don't see this as being much different. Probably time to clean the mirrors!!

*Edit* I forgot to mention, I like the cars. Are those custom built trucks, or purchased? Is that an Accucraft engine? It also appears that you use link and pin couplers, I bet this is a pain when it comes to switching!!
