That was the format until this spring. This year we lengthened the time the train sits at Whitaker and the morning Whitaker train clears the main for the Bald Knob train, then heads back to Cass. This way the Whitaker passengers get more time to look at the displays at Whitaker and they get a free runby of the Bald Knob train thundering past. Normally the afternoon Whitaker train comes up from Cass and returns without seeing another train, and gets into Cass about 30 minutes ahead of the returning Bald Knob train. Our light helper move kind of balled up the works.
