The whole RR is run as a Yard Limit under restricted speed. We stayed at Whitaker until the Whitaker train cleared the upper switchback (about 7-10 minutes) then came down. By the time we got down to upper switchback, rolled ahead and lined the switchback for the following Bald Knob train, the Whitaker train was clear of the lower switchback. The general rule is only one movement at a time on the switchbacks. By the time we got through the lower switchback and lined behind us, the Whitaker train was nearly to Cass Yard. When we got to Cass Yard they Whitaker train had unloaded and was up in the yard tieing up. We had time to water our engine and put it way well before the Bald Knob train rolled in. I was getting my gear off Heisler 6 when #5 whistled for the yard. I grabbed my camera and went out for the pic. You can see my grip still sitting on the ground next to the 6 in the pic.
We have that nasty invention called "radio" to coordinate our moves.
