"some ET&WNC locomotives were drafted in WW2 and
served alongside K27's in Alaska!"
ET&WNC #10 and #14, BLW 4-6-0s, were stationed in Whitehorse on the WP&YR during WW2 and were used as yard engines and helper engines on the hill out of Whitehorse. Both were significantly damaged in the Whitehorse Engine House fire on Christmas day 1943 and scrapped in 1945. There are pictures at Bruce Pryor's webpages.
