Hey Guys - the bridge is coming along nicely. I've got the abutments all made up, the main stringers placed and anchored and the ties placed as well. So now I'm into staining of the guard timbers for the top and then bulkhead building.
I'll try to post up some pictures this weekend, time permitting.
I've got a question again. In the Donald Hills picture posted by Russo, the Red Oil Drum has my interest. I see some writing on it, any thoughts to what it says? I suspect that it is for 'fire mitigation' but what does the can itself say?
Just was noticing that tonight, and it had me wondering.
On a side note as well, I had a big ah ha moment for staining wood, courtesy of a buddy from my train club. Leather Dyes! They come in all kinds of colors and thin out amazingly well with 91% IPA.
Thanks for the help!
Craig
