Dan, last fall I went to the BLM office in Caliente asking about the row through Condor Canyon. I was told all the trestles were burned and gone, someone wanted the traffic stopped through their property. Started at the Panaca end, lots of burned trees, no trestles, shoofly around several. About half way through the canyon we came to what had been a big trestle with very steep banks. We have a Jeep Rubicon which will go lots of places but didn't want to tackle that one without another Jeep along so made a U turn. Very sad to see what the fire did. BLM office is very helpful. Did find one small charcoal kiln just into the canyon.
Have looked at the road to Stone Cabin but not tried it, give it a go this fall. Thanks for the tip.
