Talk about coincidence, since getting a new scanner several months ago I've been working
my way through old slides and negs from 1960 on, and just re-scanned these yesterday.
In passenger service on September 23, 1972:
A month later at Big Horn on the "chase" train that accompanied the Toltec Rattler on 10/22/72 (that's #463 behind #19):
... and later in the day at the west portal of Toltec Tunnel #2 (aka Rock Tunnel):
- El Abuelo Histœrico, Greengo y Curmudgeoño de los Locomoturas Viejos y Verdes,
aka Der Grossväterlich DünkelOlivGrünDampfKesselMantelLiebHabender
