Steve is a friend of mine, and I take exception to the comments made about him. He is a fine machinist and boilermaker. I've run, fired, and ridden behind some of the many locomotives he has worked on. Steve is a craftsman. He has pretty much as near I as can tell spent most of his life fixing steam locomotives. Why he left Chama I dont know, I think Im gonna call him later.
As far as Chama goes for being a career with opportunities , I would rank it right up there with flipping burgers. People work at places like Chama cause its fun, personally rewarding, and it gives them a chance to "live in the past" or its the only other place to work besides the Dairy Queen or living on welfare.
And........ as for my paintings by Coker, Ive taken them off the wall for the time being.
