Russ.
The contractual obligations are in an agreement with the Thomas people and the Polar Express, How many cars, minimum number of passengers, number of days running and a whole bunch of requirements.
I can go into detail through private messages.
The SCFD (Scientific and Cultural Foundation District ) is a seven county tax supported entity. They award $ to various cultural facilities from the Denver ballet, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Golden Quilt Museum and the CRRM. Well over 100 facilities. Amounts are determined by revenue, attendance, volunteer hours etc. Of course you have to be a 501c3 non profit.
Your contributions have and will go to the projects you designated.
I, for one appreciate your support. The Colorado Railroad Museum is not going down the tube.
