Yah mountains, the outback, lots of animals, well it's ten times worse
here in Nebraska and in Northern Kansas. I came into Norton KS a couple
months ago after dark and in the last ten miles saw at least fifteen deer.
And it does seem they wait for your light to cross the road! At least up
toward Cumbres and La Manga there's predators to help keep them moving,
down here in the rolly flats they just kinda hang around with the thirty
pound turkeys.
