Here is ther story of DSP&P Business Car 50. Built by Pullman Palace Car Co. in 1880, renumbered (1st) 025 in 1885 and became 025 on the DL&G in 1889. Sold to Nevada-California-Oregon c.1897, and named "Fairport". The N-C-O was sold to the Southern Pacific (1927) and car was lettered Central Pacific #20 and moved south to the SPng Owens Valley operation. Sometime prior to 1941 this car was renumbered MW5. It was moved to South San Francisco in January 1944 (still on n.g. trucks) and became a bunk house for engine crews.The car was later scrapped. There is a clear photo of this car at Bayshore in 1946 in THE SOUTH PARK LINE book (p.97) as well as a nice view of her on the Colorado Central's Georgetown Loop in 1884.Also photos of her in Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge book.
