Re: Doubling 216/Cinder Bear out of Chama: Switching at Cumbres

Michael,
As I am sure you are well aware coming down the steep side of Cumbres with only one or two cars in tow is more difficult than bringing down a longer train. For this reason we choose not to bring a one or two car train from Cumbres to Chama. The 463 or any of our K-36s can haul more than 10 cars from Antonito to Cumbres and bring long trains down the 4% to Chama.
