Re: Otowi water tank

One year while visiting the C&TS for friends work session we drove back to Albuquerque via the old Chili Line along the route from Espanola to Otowi and took a few pictures. All of sudden a Tribal Police cruiser stopped and asked me if I had permit from the Tribal offices to take a picture on their land. Of course I did not know this since I was on a public road.

I told the officer that I would leave and never had a need to go back. So is the tank site on Tribal Lands?

Surprised that he didn't suggest please visit our Casinos? Just don't take pictures.
