Michigan is like two states with distinct identities: the mitten and the upper peninsula, or "Da U.P." People in da U.P. are da Yoopers, ya know. Anyway, there is still remnant 3' gauge Quincy and Torch Lake tracks and equipment at the Quincy Mine hoist (for copper mining etc.). There are also a few remnant pieces of equipment around from the 3' logging roads in upper Wisconsin. Jus so ya know, der, eh?
