I see a water tower with two spouts, was the Chama tank built like this, or was this added later?
The "rotary" is on a track that is a dead end. Currently this spur connects to the track angling to the pictured engine.
The C-class engine I believe is on the old turn table.
Please explain: Why the difference in the first two or three stalls of the round house, vs the rest of the round house having a consistent height?
Interesting to note, there is still a graded road between the depot and the oil house to get behind the round house. Was this for company parking or was there more facilities behind the roundhouse?
I would say loosely that the second track (main?) is a heavier rail than the rest of the yard. Would this be 35lb and 55lb rail?
