I recall Gary Getman telling me in 1980(?) that they had an air compressor failure in Chama prior to train time, and replaced it in 45 minutes. Indy pit crew time to be sure.

Trouble is, Westinghouse compressors are usually as dependable as the earth rotating on its axis, and when one suddenly fails, it virtully always catches you flat footed.
