thank you for the sources. I appreciate that. I am not in a position to invest for this work, i am doing it gratis as a favour for the train sim community, and have already invested for other research. Mostly I was just hoping for a few comments on placement of the road heralds and the letterboard markings for the passenger cars.
I have found McCllure Photos of the FCC at Rock Point that show the engines were marked with their Road Number on the cab and the tender and FCCRY on the top lip of the tender, and the Passenger cars with Florence & Cripple creek but i cant tell if it says RLY or RR at the end. Also found photos showing the box cars had both the FCC on the left side and the full Florence & Cripple Creek on the left and the logo on the right, the gondolas had markings along the bottom base but too small in the photo to see. If any one elase can give general info it will be a great help. My time and effort had to go into the actual modelling which is a major effort when covering the major mines of that region. Thanks for the data sources tho I appreciate it a lot.
If others are interested, the photos of the McClure shots are from Denver Public Library , here is one that shows the freight cars at the very top, these are glass negatives so they have almost infinite resolution so you will have to expand the view using the slider at the top of the on line page.
