Thanks that i think is what my source said, i will have to dig for it, just found out about that two days ago and have been working hard on cars and research. Another interesting detail i just learned is that the FCC was owned by David Moffat..and that may also explain why they never rebulit the line after the floods, David died unexpectedly while on a trip back east to get funding for the Denver Northwestern and Pacific which becamse the Denver and Salt Lake in 1915 after a reoganization. I am also rebuildings the Rollins pass phase of the DNWP and have just completed making all of the initial passenger stock which came from the St Charles Car Company, same company who made the first set of passenger cars for the FCC, and also some from the Pullman Company, it seems both companies were good friends of David's and he gave them a lot of business. As he owned a lot of mines in the Cripple Creek Victor area it all makes sense. Thanks for the post about the Pearl Harbor cars.
