The DRHS has three areas that are currently being used for car restoration. The first area is the Silverton Northern enginehouse in Silverton where the work by the volunteers will begin after the snow melts on D&RGW flanger OT. San Juan Timberwrights in Arboles CO is the location where 5564 and 5627 are having the body plates replaced and the roofs rebuilt. 04432 is currently at a location a few miles south of Durango for work to replace the roof structure with a historically correct roof for this car.
