I recall Jack Rentfrow, the D&RGW Trainmaster in Durango, donating the harp switch stand from Elk Park to our historical society in Silverton in the late 1970s, and he had previously displayed it in his living room at home before his wife gave it the ax. I don't know the date of the conversion, but it was before 1980. The Elk Park switch stand is presently in use on the new stub switch laid for the Silverton Northern engine house in Silverton.
