Hi Dutch,
Flagstop fares:
Out of Durango (destination doesn't matter in fare...no matter how near or far you go, you are taking up a Durango-Silverton seat):
Adults (age 12 and over) $90.95* Child (age 4-11) $54.57*.
Fares are the same whether using one way or round trip.
*Includes 7% Historic Preservation Fee.
Out of Silverton: (less expensive as there are usually more empty seats on the afternoon trip)
Adults (age 12 and over) $71.89* Child (age 4-11) $50.29*
Fares are the same whether using one way or round trip.
*Includes 7% Historic Preservation Fee.
Freight fee is $10 per backpack (free with Season Pass)
Fares are the same out of Durango or Rockwood but be sure to consider that it is difficult to get a train that is scheduled to stop at both Rockwood AND Elk Park or Silverton (distributing flagstops among the trains helps the trains keep on schedule) so departing from Durango might be necessary.
Most of this info can be found online too:

Hope this helps!
