That's a sizable drop in ridership, but as we all know C&TS and D&S have
been down as well. But, they're not next to a busy Interstate. I think the
novelty value has worn off so the locals probably ride less but the ad
content along 70 isn't exactly enticing the tourists with great vigor. I'd
vote for giving it to CRM to run, I think the "admin" interest level would
certainly be much greater. I always liked the staff and docent enthusiasm
during the Ashby era and the last couple times I've ridden it it didn't
seem the same.
