Where did you find this information? Cia Azucarera Mendozo does not appear anywhere in "Industrial Steam Locomotives of Cuba" by G.A.P.Leach, which lists the former names and the later names of all mills taken into MINAZ in 1959. The Minaz 1974 locomotive numbering list does not show this engine. Leach's book lists more than 550 additional locomotives that were never given a MINAZ number, which means they were out of service by 1975. No reference to the engine appears there either, although that list does contain quite a few second hand US locos. MINAZ took only about a half dozen second hand US locos into service, although a fair number of second hand locos were acquired from the Cuban mainline railroads.
