Thank you, Guy -
Color versions of older scans - done several years ago with a CanoScan 9500 and not quite as sharp - can be found by doing an NGDF search using the parameters "68082 jpg" + "only this forum" + "all dates". Go to the second page of results, and check out my '40 Years Ago ...' threads posted back in the 'olden days' when the NGDF allowed only three pics per page.
I have been re-scanning most of these 1968 "Last Freight" shots recently with a much sharper Nikon Coolscan 9000, but having a bit of trouble getting the colors right as the slides are another ten years older - see my later posts on John West's "Raining in Chama" thread at [
ngdiscussion.net] and my 'Wallboard' posts at [
ngdiscussion.net] et seq on the "50's Freight Customers" thread for b&w versions of some of them. 'Toenails' (bigger than 'Thumbnails') of nearly all of the rescans can be found at [
ngdiscussion.net] on Jim Gunning's "Scanner Info" thread. Once I'm done re-scanning, adjusting and then archiving to CD I hope to follow John West's example and start posting some of them to Flickr.
