I think I know where those buildings were. The bad news is that I think that street was paved over. Still, I'll take a look the next time I'm in town.

The north leg of the wye, leading to the line to Gunnison, is still in place, although it is disconnected from the mainline. A spur south of the wye runs to the candy factory, though I never saw anything tied up there.

After retiring to Montrose, I worked on the restoration of Goose 4. Once that was done, I moved to Scottsdale. I loved the 5 months of good weather. But the 7 months of snow in a small town having only 3 paved roads out of town, only one of which was reliably open in the depths of winter, chased me away. I return often in the summer to work with the Ridgway RR museum folks.
