down, IMHO -
IIRC, Ernie Robart's original stencil for the tender lettering was still around in the late seventies, and that's what was used on #484.* Only the addition of a little color to the logo - circa D&RGW in the late 30's - doesn't reflect the histöric early years of the C&TS!
