Re: RGS video (pic)

Well since the mailbox covering would have the horn “honk” differently (and being a rivet counter) I set out this afternoon to do a live test utilizing the friendly folks/ merchandise at the local Home Depot. So the test was to insert my horn into a mailbox and power up the horn with a portable air compressor. We also found some artificial snow on post-Christmas close out so we could check on Earl’s theory that snow affected the honkers.

Things were coming together nicely and quite a crowd was gathering in the store aisle when the manager and store security approached to find out what was up. I told them that I was from Home Security and flashed my Social Security card explaining this was a RGS annual test performed on the last calendar day of the year and their store had been selected for this honor. It all “sounded” pretty good but I guess but after being escorted to the parking lot I will have to rethink my plan...
