VEGETABLE GARDENS? What's next then? You could get jail time for watering your dog?
Yes, I understand drought. And I understand the fear of NO water, but IMO Ornamental gardens and lawns are one thing, vegetables for consumption is something else. Allowing people to plant bushes and perenials until May 1 just further confuses the issue.
Can I assume that if your family actually DEPENDS upon those vegetables, that the town fathers have a plan (with funding) to feed you all next winter?
