Yes, the serials. Endless continued segments
of various westerns, sci-fi and cartoons
shown at Sat mid-day for 25 cents. If you
were careful with the allowance, one 5 cent
'Big Hunk' candy bar was bought sometimes.
The kids Sat. matinee was usually packed full.

Real movies always had TWO feature films,
sometimes three and usually two cartoons.
In the 50's.
