Re: Today's train

#489 took 7 cars to Cumbres this afternoon, including 2 cabeese. Tomorrow it will take up 4 passenger cars, pick up 3 ballast cars, one coach, and the 7 cars taken up today. It will pick up 2 cars at Toltec and 1 car at Sublette. It will arrive Antonito with 18 cars total.

the #488 Will leave Antonito tomorrow and bring 4 passenger cars to Chama.

On the 6th of Dec. we will run several departures from Chama to Lobato for Santa trains. The fare to ride will be a non perishable food item for the New Mexico Roadrunner Food Bank, and the Echo food bank out of Farmington.
We will also run the same event on the 13th.

On Dec. 7 we will run multiple departure Santa trains out of Antonito (perhaps as far as Lava). The fare will be toys for the El Paso County Toys for Tots USMC program. The toys will be distributed throughout the San Luis Valley.

We hope these events will become an annual event, and a benefit to both Colorado and New Mexico.
