The Heisler with the outside frame trucks is Oregon Lumber Co (OLC) #100. It was the only one like this on the NG OLC/SVRy. Sadly this engine was offered to the City of Baker about 1954 as a park engine, but the City didn't want it, so it met the torch. If you are asking if OLC had another Heisler they also had #104 which was a former Nibley Lbr Co./Grande Ronde Lbr. std. ga. engine. Stoddard Lbr. which connected to the SVRy had 3 Heislers, and WH Eccles had 2, one of which is of course our WHEccles #3 currently undergoing it's 15 year boiler inspection. That would be a total of 7 NG Heislers working in the mtns. S.W. of Baker. Oregon Lumber had 7 Shays, not all rostered at the same time. Stoddard was the only other one in the area to use a Shay which was a very light 2 cyl. one. So 8 Shays in the area over time. Baker White Pine used 3 Climax locomotives and WH Eccles had 1 Climax that eventually became an OLC engine but was likely not used or if so very little. OLC also bought an additional Climax from Halleck and Howard in New Mexico. So 5 NG Climax engines in the NE.Ore. woods. OLC also acquired a 4-4-0 formerly E&P #9 which was presumably used as a camp tender, but also is shown in a photo with a gypsy winch loading cars. OLC leased or used SVRy #10 a former DRG consolidation as well. I assume it was used on their mainline or for work more suited to a rod engine, like maybe moving log trains to a pick up point on the SVRy mainline. This use is pure speculation on my part.
