When the clientele changes....

You either change with it or go out of business.

When I rode the train this past February, I wasn't so much interested in buying something from the gift shop as I was in seeing the wintery scenery and enjoying the ride.

The city is changing, and has been for several years, from the touristy town that relied on the railroad as an attraction to a town that has retirees moving in, upscale stores and living north of town and also west of town. There's more in Durango than "a train."
