Another unidentified steaming object

Since this board is full of every piece of trivia known to the narrow gauge, I thought I might have some luck in identifcation of this photo, when, where, what? I plucked this photo from an old photo album some years ago, it was unlabeled, and was on the same page as two other RR related photos, one at the old "huge" hotel in Gunnison, CO and the other from in front of the D&RG Std. guage depot in Palisade, Colorado. The photos seem all unrelated other than they were on the same page ( along with kids, relatives, dogs, etc). Did the D&RG have slant backed tenders? Could this be on the Colorado Midland? Any help in narrowing the field would be appriciated.
