I would disagree. There's nothing wrong with the signals we have used for a century. The main point is that the crew must understand them. The same signals in GCOR have been in rulebooks all that time and are basic, but do not cover many other situations.
Besides, if you are presenting only
recent history, GCOR is fine. Are you depicting 1990 on your railroad in Iowa?
