I assume you are referring to the first "3:10 to Yuma", but that wasn't filmed on the Patagonia Branch that I am aware of. Was that the one shot on the San Manuel Arizona with a V&T movie train?
Elgin on the Patagonia branch was used for the movie "Oklahoma" using SP 1673 apparently just before it was retired and donated to Tucson.
