One thing most people don't take into consideration is, and I have read this in biography's of railroad men, that back in the day, the engineer was proud of his locomotive, it truly was his baby doll, so to speak, and he would not only wipe the bell down, but he also along with the fireman would clean the boiler jacket as best as he could, the locomotive was like his home and he wanted all to know he was proud of his job and his engine. Though back in 2010 489 was tainted green
she held her color pretty good after three days of movement here she is in Osier, it was a cloudy day and the sun was peeking out once in a while.
Still a Student,
