Hi,

When Glove Machine Shop quit manufacturing locomotives c1929-1930, There were three locos in the shops.

They were there when the Glover operation moved to South GA in the 1990's (IIRC).

One is displayed in a parking lot near the W&A in Marietta - it was restored. This 2-6-0 was a return from a buyer to sell on spec (?)

There were two 0-4-0ST's in the shop also. One is 36" gauge which I think the buyer folded before paying for it. The other was something like 38" (not meter) gauge IIRC. It was built on spec and was never completed.

Both are now in the The Southern Museum (Formerly advertised as The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History). They part of "a reproduction of the locomotive assembly line from the Glover Machine Works."

As an aside, the shop track has five rails - 56.5", 36", 30" and I think meter.
