Right now they're pretty much equal, it's called 1472 days. Earl's right
about oil, it's easier to get consistent grade coal than the various
forms of oil that most museums run. We used to donate our used hydraulic
oil and you had to cut it at least 2:1 to keep from doing sheet damage.
On the other extreme the really cheap oil grades run like crap and still
can give hot spots.
