I think you need to be very careful about spreading rumors about someone and mental illness... first of all its not approrpate, and second, I think you are wrong.
I have known Brook since 1982 or so, and while Brook and I don't always get along, as far as I can tell Brook does not have any mental illness (I have seen him in the last month) He had and has a lot of irons in the fire... many funded by other's dreams, and other's dreams had a way of falling short... Brook is a competent steam mechanic, and good at moving heavy things. He is not as good at planning how much time something might take.
For the two Hawaiian engines, they were rescued for eventual use on the 3' tourist railroad on Kauai, but while the project went forward that project never generatated the money to rebuild the two steam engines, and has found that the two 25 ton GE locomotives work for their needs, and the partnership has split, with the partner who wanted steam leaving the railroad... Brook has the locomotives, but I am not sure about who holds ownership...
