I think you have hit on a great idea, those of us that can could purchase a few tickets, give them to friends, etc. this would give them incentive to go to Chama/Antonito and experience the RR. I think I read somewhere that much of the rr patronage is return business. If that is true, this "seed" money could reap many new patrons that would maybe never set foot there on their own, but with a little prodding, might make several return visits in the future. I know that I have been there 3 times myself and intend to make a fourth pilgramage this August
