My brother and I have definitely discussed this idea, and infarct have collected many pictures of different signs. One thing I have noticed, like Fritz said, they are all hand painted, and all have sort of their own font. I'm sure this also changed over the years.

Did you have a specific one in mind, or do you have a pic of what you would like? We may be able to try something.
