I tend to agree. Its seems the Friends rebuild committee is not focused very well on what cars need current, useful restoration.

Why is VERY deteriorated stock Car 5995 being slowly rebuilt in Ant? Why do we need any more stock cars?
At least renewed drop-bottom gons can be used to haul and spread ballast by the C&TS track gang, as with 769 at the Ant CRF.
Renewed FLATCARS seem to be the handiest, most versatile vehicles to rebuild, if anything.
After Chris Trunk's gang finishes the two tank cars in Ant, there should be enough of them, like stock cars and gons, to portray historically accurate photo freight.
My recent trip on Jay Wimer's 315/OB Work Train showed that all three cabeese used had SERIOUS track-damaging, irritating flat spots, Particularly 0579, others needed exterior paint renewal.
Those cars were in much better shape when rebuilt.
