I cannot tell you how many times I have seen auction claims that Elvis owned this car or that. They guy must have owned 25,000 cars between 1955 and 1970 !
The Westside connection makes for a sexy story, but I would heed it with caution. Good chance it was a "minor falsehood" meant to ease an extra allotment of green rectangles out of the buyer's pocket.
I mean, why let the facts get in the way of a heavy markup, right ?
